December is the perfect time to start planning spring campaigns for the next year, ensuring you’ll have all your marketing assets in place in time for new opportunities in 2019.

Use the Christmas period to get your team together for a creative planning session for the new year. Think about what you want to achieve, generate new ideas and plans to hit the ground running in 2019.
Invest some time in a SWOT analysis for your marketing plans. Where are your biggest opportunities? What may impact success? What do you need to change to ensure a good result?
Take the opportunity to look back at the last year. How have campaigns performed? What has worked well? Look at the statistics from Google and social media analytics to audit your month-on-month performance.
Think about your CSR in 2019. Maybe it’s time to adopt a charity or plan some fundraising events through the year. Appoint a charity champion within the business to make things happen.

Most importantly, set objectives and KPIs for the coming year. Decide what success looks like, how you will monitor results and who is responsible for what.
