Kate Joins the Colchester Business Enterprise Agency Board
TWI founder and managing partner, Kate Everett has joined the Colchester Business Enterprise Agency (Colbea) board as a non-executive director.
Kate has a long association with Colbea as a sponsor, trainer and associate. Speaking about the appointment she said, “I have had the pleasure of working with Colbea for more than fifteen years. I get to see and experience first-hand the incredible contribution their work makes to the local economy and business community through its delivery of essential business incubation, support, training and mentoring services to businesses across Essex.
“As a sponsor, TWI helps to enable Colbea’s invaluable work, and I hope to help expand on that and help shape the future in my role as a board member. We have a fantastic team of leaders on the board, and, with the vision and passion of Ashleigh our CEO, I look forward to being part of exciting times ahead.”
Kate recently took part in Colbea’s Women in Business event, a joint initiative with Tendring District Council as part of its TENDRING4GROWTH Business Week. She is also part of the training delivery team for ‘In the Market for Success’ (IM4S), a Natwest funded six-week programme for business women that has helped to create more than a hundred new female-led businesses.
Colbea is helping to drive the region’s economy. This month, guests at Colbea’s AGM and Annual General Party heard from businesswoman Helen Armstrong, founder of Silver Cloud HR how IM4S and Colbea’s support helped her to start what has become a multi-million-pound business.
