TWI Says Au Revoir to Becca
The Write Impression team got together on a sunny September day for an off-site strategy morning and an afternoon of coastal capers at a very posh beach hut in Walton-on-the-Naze. We are always looking for creative spaces to plan our campaigns, and the whole day was very productive and great fun, although tinged with sadness, as we prepared to bid farewell to our dear colleague Becca as she heads off on her travels to the other side of the world.
Starting her adventures with a week in Dubai, then moving on to Bali before travelling through Asia, Becca plans to spend most of her trip enjoying Australia. Our plan to have her returned to us by Border Force failed, so we are having to resort to hoping optimistically that the creepy crawlies and snakes in Oz encourage her to come home sooner rather than later.
On a more serious note, as sad as we are to say au revoir to Becca (definitely NOT adieu), we are so proud of how she has blossomed in the years she has spent at TWI and we recognise the benefits independent travel ultimately brings to the workplace from an employer’s perspective. That doesn’t stop us sobbing when we pass her empty chair, or reminiscing about the time she threw her hot soup around the office, creating a scene from a horror movie or tried to poison us all with her cupcakes (true, but not a regular occurrence; Becca is a master baker and we expect to see her on Bake Off one day).
Have a fabulous trip, Becca! We are loving your updates on social media. Stay safe and watch out for those Komodo dragons in Asia and the little spiders in Australia. If you’re worried, you could always come home…
If that doesn’t work, it looks like we will be recruiting. If you think you could be part of team TWI, please send your CV to Janice@twi.agency
