Are you personalising your website’s user experience? Well if not, then why not?
Our founder and all-around marketing master, Kate, recently co-hosted a webinar with the team over at Leadoo to speak about all things personalisation, including some unique insights into improving user experience and boosting conversions.
The webinar opened with a quick poll to get the audience thinking about their own websites, which revealed some very interesting results. It seemed that the majority of the webinar-goers had hardly made any changes to their website’s personalisation in the last three months, and were a little lost about where to start when it comes to making personalisation a key feature on the website.
Adding a Pricing Calculator
To help boost their confidence, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Leadoo Marketing Technologies, Santtu Kottila, shared an in-depth insight into the many ways that personalisation can encourage visitors to spend more money on your website. Adding a pricing calculator, for example, is an easy way to build up more conversions and qualify important leads – without having to publish any figures directly onto the website. Considering that 90% of people ask about pricing before booking consultations, having your prices in an inbuilt bot can increase the chances of potential customers following up on a sale.
Spice Up Your CTAs
Calls to Action (CTA) are another easy way to boost website conversions. It’s easy to opt for a quick ‘Contact Us’ line and hope for the best, but it’s unlikely that this will have much of an impact on your conversion rate. Vague CTAs are a wasted opportunity to convert customers who are at different stages of their website journey. In light of this, Kate shared some useful tips on how using more precise CTAs, such as ‘Download our product brochure’ and ‘Book a Demo’, help to improve the overall website experience by targeting specific users.
